In 2018 we received a grant from Kari, a local Aboriginal Community Organisation. Kari provides programs which teach local community members about traditional and contemporary Aboriginal art programs.

This grant provided our students the opportunity to work with renowned local artist Danielle Mate Sullivan, whose work has been collected by President Obama.

Aboriginal students from three local primary schools and local Elders were invited by our students to become a part of the project. The mural took over six months to complete and it was recognised as a project that brought together the Aboriginal community in our area.
